Mac Installation
AlphAI software is currently compatible with Mac devices with Intel or Apple M1 processors.
Installation instructions
1 - Download an installation script (right-click + save as; save in Downloads):
AlphAI-X.X.X (stable)
AlphAI-X.X.X (beta)
AlphAI-1.8.10.11 (legacy)
2 - Open a terminal (you can type "terminal" in the search tool, or find Terminal in Applications).
3 - Run the command:
sh Downloads/AlphAI-X.X.X_installer.sh
(Replace X.X.X with the version number you've chosen, or just type Downloads/AlphAI- then use the TAB key to complete automatically.)
This should download and install AlphAI.
At the end of the installation, you'll be asked for a password: this is your computer password. It's normal for nothing to appear while you're typing it, then press Enter.
4 - Once installation is complete, to launch the software, simply run the command:

- Windows 8.1* or higher / macOS
- 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)
- 3 GB hard disk space
- OpenGL version ≥ 2.1
- Internet access (only for license activation **)
Please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance with installation.
* Windows 7 is not supported by Python 3.9, so our software cannot be installed there.
** If you're using a proxy, the call to the license server may be blocked. A simple solution is to use a personal network with connection sharing just the first time to retrieve the license, using the software entirely off-line.
