Thymio Specifics

Licenses for Thymio robots have a few differences compared to other license types. The first difference is that the license activation window will not appear when you launch the software, but only when you first connect to a Thymio robot.

If this robot is a simulation, then everything works as described above.

‍

If this is a physical Thymio robot, the license will be stored on the robot itself, not on your computer. This allows you to connect the robot to any computer where the software is installed, even if that computer doesn't have an active license. However, you can only use your activation key this way on one Thymio robot. If you want to use AlphAI with multiple Thymio robots, you will need to purchase a license for each robot.

The validity period for physical Thymio robots is unlimited.
