Did you know that by using its infrared sensors, Thymio is able to find its way out of a maze by adopting the strategy of always following the wall on its left (or right)?

A detailed description of the activity is currently being prepared, but if you have understood the principle of Thymio AI, you should be able to do it without further explanation...

This activity is particularly interesting because it clearly demonstrates the potential of AI, even with simple sensors! It would indeed be possible, but difficult, to write a "traditional" program to make the right decisions based on the values of these sensors, whereas with AI (machine learning), all you need to do is provide a few examples and you're good to go 😉.
